I know you’re new to the Fashion Feed, but as a group we tend to try to keep it PG rated because many of us browse it while we are at work and at home by our families.
That being said – please try to adhere your blog to our community-accepted standards. That would be great. Not many of us like to open the feed and see a glaring crotch. It’s classless and disgusting.

Oh, and Loki, I THOUGHT about it… but I figured I’d go with the ones that had a reasonable chance of responding. :P I doubt Prok would be into this kinda thing. LOL

While you’re busy enforcing these “standards”, Tenshi, perhaps you could notify Swirly? Last I checked, her images are way more disturbing than a simple crotch.
As for the comment about people viewing from work, um… they’re at WORK. If they choose to risk their employment by viewing non-work material on their employer’s time, that’s on their head. The feed is an amalgam of opinions in blog form, and no one should be expected to censor themselves, their voice, their blog for the sake of Random Debbie as she shields her monitor from passersby at her cubicle.
And viewing SL while at home with your family? I assume you mean children by this? What kind of moron deliberately allows their child near a place like SL anyways? Seriously. I love SL but we all know that many parts of it is rife with sex, and just because someone is an irresponsible parent doesn’t mean a blogger is obligated to expurgate her own material.
With that said, the idea of you as a blogging authority is laughable. You should probably go stifle your own penchant for drama and sensationalism first before you try to bully other bloggers and tell them how they should operate their own sites.
@ Tenshi: who is ‘we’? You are not ‘The Fashion Feed’; you have no control or authority over it whatever, nor is your blog a forum for establishing community guidelines (whatever you happen to think). Unless you happen to be Tao Takashi’s alt, whatever your opinion of ‘appropriate’ is does not constitute a community standard. In point of fact, you have absolutely no credible basis for issuing such pronouncements; that you take it upon yourself to do so is more a sign of your overinflated sense of self-importance than anything else. I would respectfully suggest that you piss off and mind your own damned business (unless you happen to want self-righteous twits commenting on YOUR blog and telling you what you ought or ought not to post).
Thank you, Vivienne and Mela for your defense… Tenshi’s right, I am new to the fashion feed, and if there are “community accepted standards”, I certainly wasn’t aware that I may be breaking them. Considering that skin reviews are pretty often displayed as nude shots, and after all it IS Second Life, I just figured, you know, it might be a bit “normal”, and that there would inevitably be nudity (of course, tasteful nudity). I saw an opportunity to include one of my most popular shots in an appropriate post, and I took it, perhaps foolishly. Obviously, I was wrong to think that no one would be offended. Even though Tenshi was the only one to vocalize that she was offended by it (though I have to admit, saying it was “classless” and “disgusting” really hurt my feelings… that certainly wasn’t my intent), I guess I understand how it could possibly be a tad overzealous to include a nude photo “above the cut”, even a tasteful one. And really, if anyone has an actual list of rules or something like that, or if Tao could drop by and tell me what they are himself, I’d actually be very grateful. Thanks again, you guys. Much love.
