Shark Teeth, Anyone?
In an attempt to concentrate more on summer jewelry, and also keep the guys in mind, I’ve created a new set for both men AND women! The Morski Pas Set is sold in both male and female versions at Genesis (SLURL) as of this afternoon. :)
Both sets include a shark tooth necklace made with red and black coral, natural wood, polished stone, and black rope and matching bracelets. The female version also includes the shark tooth earrings. My apologies for being so lacking on the male jewelry, guys… I promise there will be more to come. :)
I Am a Machine
Or so I’m told. :P
More new stuff released at Genesis (SLURL).
I bring you the Autumn Set, my personal favorite… I’ve been wearing it since I finished it, omg, I can’t take it off. It comes complete withe scripted texture change for both the wooden circles and metal. There are five different wood options and eight different metal options. The necklace attaches to both spine and chest attachment points and both a right and left bracelet is included.
Also, the Annah Hoop Earrings are now available in V2… with eight new textures to pick from. One pair of earrings, eight great textures. Can’t go wrong, right?
Another favorite of mine, the Aidan Bangles, just in time for summer. Each bangle is scripted for texture change individually, so you can create any combination of colors from the ten available. Comes with both a right and left bangle.
My very first “complete” wedding/engagement ring set is now up for sale, the ‘Til Death set. The engagement ring is scripted to show or hide the wedding band (so you don’t have to show the band until the big day!) and the set comes complete with a male wedding band. The set is unscripted, and only available in the platinum metal.
And last but not least, a set of eyes, the Realite’ eyes, available in six colors, with and without veins, AND large or small sizes. Whew! Now, I must eat. :)
Take the limo to Genesis. And don’t forget the Eden 75% off skin sale still going on until May 15th!
More New Releases @ Genesis
I swear my next post will be fashion review related. Or at least, something other than new releases. I apparently took speed yesterday, and ended up plowing through five more new releases at my store, Genesis (SLURL, XStreetSL)! So here we go, for your enjoyment (as usual, click for larger photos):
The first two, the Zbilja Eyes and the Angie Prim Nails (Series 1) are my first ‘official’ releases (well, aside from the Twilight Eyes and Drama Queen tees) into something “not jewelry”. I rather enjoyed making the prim nails, and fully intend to make more in time. There are 12 total nail options (scripted texture change), french tip and glittered. They also come in two sizes, 20 and 30. The eyes are realistically textured and naturally colored.
These hoops you see here were what started me building yesterday. I wanted to make a pair of simple hoops… and it expanded into full-blown texture change hoops with five different metal options. After about an hour and eleven very…tiny… prims, the Annah Hoop Earrings were born! Nothing extravagant or flashy… just a simple pair of hoop earrings with the ability to wear gold, silver, copper, bronze, or gunmetal.
This set holds a special little place in my heart. It was a request from a dear friend of mine, Alysha Renehan (who’s last name I can NEVER spell right!), based on a jewelry set her real life boy toy gave her for Christmas, I believe. Naturally, months later (ugh, I suck), here it is — with five different metal change options, and six different gemstone options, scripted texture change!
And here we have another set I probably spent the most time building yesterday, The Analu Set. I LOVE this set. It’s chunky, it’s wide necked, it’s perfect for beach and summer wear, and it comes with so many texture change options I can’t even explain it. Polished stone and crystals are the main building blocks with eight different texture change options for each, allowing for MANY combinations. This ad really doesn’t do this set justice… I may have to take an actual picture wearing it! Haha.
You can grab any of the five new releases at either my main store (SLURL) or on XStreetSL. Enjoy! :)
Five New Releases @ Genesis
Whew, finally! Five new releases at my main store (SLURL)!
I had planned to release a ton of new pieces all at once, and then I started working on skins, got all busy doing everything else, blah de blah… you get the drift. Basically, I got tired of hanging on to the new stuff and decided to just go ahead and release these five. :)
The Rrishanna Ring has been in my inventory a good, long while. Named for one of my dear friends, Rrishanna Regina! Mwah, girlie. :) <3
The Aubrey Bangles are my favorite bracelets to date, and probably the only ones I’ve made to be “sold seperately”, as it were. I should really make more bracelets, and I’ve promised several people that I would… so I shall. :P But for now, here they are. :)
And the last three releases, The Amarissa Set (being my personal favorite… I kept meaning to put this out for Easter, but got sidetracked), The Monarchy Set (a special edition of this set is in my Relay for Life release!), and the Itty Bitty Heart Belly Ring (this is the scripted and retextured version of the free belly ring I offer in my skin packages).
Enjoy! Oh, and take the limo. It’s roomy. ;)
Fashionable Relay Challenge: Post Two
I swear to God I’ll stop sucking at blogging one day.
For those of you who have not yet heard of the Fashionable Relay Challenge, I expect you’re wondering what it is. Well, no better place to find out than Sasy Scarborough’s blog.
The lovely Sasy has passed the torch to me as the second relayer in this race for fashion extremities and eccentricities. I like that. Eccentric and extreme fashion. Rawr. Throw in a barrel of beer and some nuts, and we have ourselves a par-tay.
I know you’re all just DYING to know what I’m wearing here… so I’ll just cut to the chase and save the fluff for later. BUT! Don’t forget to click the picture above for a closer, more perv-worthy look.
Chosen Relay Item From Sasy’s Post (for fast reference): Maitreya’s Frenzy Heels in Green.
As always, we’ll start with the skin. I am wearing the most recent Redgrave (SLURL) release, Leona, in deep tan. I have never blogged about a Redgrave skin (and don’t worry, for time restraints, I won’t start now) but I truly love this skin. It’s very sophisticated and elegant, and holds all the quality that Redgrave promises in its products. I’m not the biggest fan of the deep tan color, I much prefer the lighter variations… however, this is my story, and I’m stickin’ to it: Redgrave Leona = skin whore lurve.
My hair was a recent acquirement, Apatia in Smoke color, created by the lovely, bubbly, beautiful Autumn Hykova of Pixel Dust (SLURL). This has actually quickly become one of my MOST favorite wigs, and my man’s pretty approving of it as well. Apparently my head is made for short hair, and he just adores it. Who’s to blame him? This hair completes my wannabe rocker chick look on my best of days, and my dressed-down, freshly rolled out of bed down days. Versatile and adorable. Just how I like it.
The eyes are one of my old favorites, having been in my inventory for quite some time: Miriel (SLURL) eyes in Sepia. Anyone that knows me, knows I’m very partial to light colored eyes. In fact, I very rarely, if ever, stray from my usual trademark grey eyes. But sometimes, when I feel like adding a little color to the stone gray eyes that sit in my sockets, I typically will put these babies in for some flavor. Eye color change on demand. Only in SL. Or Twilight.
My eyelashes are also something I’ve had in my inventory for a while, and probably my favoritestestest pair ever… Laqroki’s (SLURL) Dramatic lashes.
The glasses… now these are a treat. I bought the fat pack of these babies a little over a year ago now I believe, and I’ve yet to have the chance to wear them, but OH MY GOD, thank god for the two accessories requirement in this relay challenge, because now I had THE PERFECT opportunity to wear them. Artilleri (SLURL) Marla Glasses in Olive are so cute and sophisticate that they make me feel all… quirky. When I put them on, I automatically have visions of Starbucks, Mocha Lattes, and Macbook Pros. I simply adore them and the way they make my inner hipster start screaming for caffeine and cigarettes.
The earrings are available as a set or separately at EarthStones (SLURL). The Knotty Beads Earrings are just too cute for words, and the rest of the knotty beads sets are just as awesome. I have to own all of them by now. And if I don’t, I should. And you should too. A girl can never have too many beads. Coming from a native New Orleanian, trust me, I know. Though thankfully, these are beads you don’t have to flash your boobies for… though I’m sure no one would object. *ahem*
My stole is one of my more recent discoveries as well. Okay, maybe not TERRIBLY recent, but November/December-ish. Massimo (SLURL) created these damn awesome sculpted masterpieces, the Fringe Checkered Stole in Green (and many other colors), a ways back but they have got to be the gift that keeps on giving, because I could honest to god wear one with every outfit I could ever come up with. They’re so snuggly they make me wanna throw on a chunky sweater and curl up by a fireplace.
The Novocaine (SLURL) Genevieve Long Sweaters (this one is Melon color) are to die for, and belong in every Fashionista’s closet. The sculpted bottom is perfect for virtually any size and shape, and contours perfectly to the womanly hips every girl should have. The cute little bow at the waist (attached to the sculpted bottom part of the sweater) is the icing on the cake, really.
The bracelets I’m sporting in this cozy ensemble are from two of my favorite accesories places evar – Armidi Gisaci (SLURL) and Persona (SLURL). I know, I know. I told myself I wouldn’t blog anything Armidi, but I just couldn’t help it… I love Towanda Quintet Bangles in Gold. And Persona has got to make some of the cutest jewelry, and I was so happy to finally have a reason to wear the bronze Mighty Heart Bracelets that I just had to jump at it. Please don’t hate me.
These pants are a very new find for me… I bought them maybe a week ago. I’ve been DYING to find cute utility pants and Kenzie & Co’s (SLURL) Denim Utility Capris in Classic Wash are just perfect and I can’t tell you how happy I am to have bought them… in fact, I bought the whole shebang. William Hung be damned. Kenzie Craven be praised.
The tights are my absolute favorite piece of clothing this season. Seriously… I wear them constantly. Ask anyone that sees me on a regular basis, and they will tell you — I am rarely seen without the Leezu Baxter Designs (SLURL) Cat Tights (in Champagne above) these days. They’re just so cute, versatile, comfy, cozy, trendy and … 80s. As a product of the 80s, I simply adore them. And they come in SO MANY COLORS… I just can’t seem to run out of outfits to wear them with.
My legwarmers are yet another recent purchase, and something I’ve been dying to wear. Malt (SLURL) is a store that holds many surprises for me. Each time I go I find something I simply MUST HAVE and I tend to leave broke and happy. The Malt Legwarmers (in Kiwi above) were no different, because as soon as I saw them I just knew I had to have them… in many colors. Often. Rawr.
And last but certainly not least, the reason for this ensemble, the creme de la creme of Sasy’s relay blog post, the thing that started this explosion of comfy, crazy, quirky, hipster knick-knacking mashup, the relay item extraordinaire… the shoes. Ah, the shoes. Maitreya’s (SLURL) Frenzy heels in Green. Somehow I missed the heels entirely and found the Frenzy wedges last time I was there… but I am so happy that Sasy’s blog post has opened my eyes to the fact that yes, these shoes do exist. And they now exist in my inventory.
And now this brings my relay post to an end, and I shall pass the torch to the next brave soul… the one and only Samara Barzane. Be on the lookout… I’m sure her blog entry will come sooner than mine did! *someone smack me cuz I suuuuuck! I swear I’ll get better… -.-* Check out Samara’s blog here!

Scarlia Impressions by Alia Whitfield
I thought I’d take a moment today to tell you about a talented “Second Life optometrist” (and budding jewelry creator) as she refers to herself, a miss Alia Whitfield! Miss Whitfield is actually one half of the mind behind Scarlia Impressions (SLURL), with her partner Scar Ayres being the shapeshifter of the two (she really does make some beautiful shapes!).
The latest realease of MultiColor Eyes is actually exquisite, with what seems like a billion different varieties to choose from. There are sixteen total color variation packs, each pack with 4 varities of colored eyes inside. That’s a total of 64 pairs of eyes! Each of these color variation packs sells for just $100L a piece. These eyes can be purchased in two seperate fatpacks (naturals and unnaturals) for $600L or as one giant megafatpack of all eyes available for $960L.
While you’re there, I’d also highly recommend checking out the DualTone Eyes, which are actually my favorite line so far (the third line currently available is the Monochrome Eyes)! The glassy look to all of the eyes are what sells them for me… that kind of specularity is hard to achieve, and Alia does it remarkably well.
Another exciting new release includes the Kaleidoscope Necklaces, which you can see below. Available in 12 colors and selling for $150L each, there’s a color here for virtually any item you may have in your inventory. And they are casual enough to wear with anything!
What are you waiting for? Need some new eyes, a shape, or a swanky new necklace for the holidays? Head on over to Scarlia Impressions! Here’s the taxi.

Out With the Old School
I am *so late* on this post, but… better late than never, eh?
Kari’s (SLURL) newest release tickled my fancy like no other. Not only because it was a collaborative effort between four of my absolute favorite designers, but because… well, let’s just say the new “Kicks” hold a very special place in my wittle heart. XD
An entire outfit… jacket, pants, shoes, hair… all in one ginormous, collaborative effort of awesomesaucetasticness. Kari, TorridWear, Celestial Studios, and Panache all teamed up to form what I can only describe as the kick-ass-and-take-names team on this release.
First, let’s talk about the new Kicks. Menno, being the friggin’ sweetheart that he is, tapped 20 of his friends for their favorite colors… and immortalized them in a texture change menu for these awesome new shoes. Each color combo is named after one of his friends (you’ll find the yelow/black combo under my name XD) and honestly, this makes these shoes so diverse that I could literally wear them with anything. Choices are what we liiiiiiiike… and Menno certainly is a pro at giving us that! The shoes themselves are no mod, but come with a handy-dandy resizing script for all your resizing needs.
Next up, the New School and Girl’s School hair styles, a collaborative effort between Kari and Panache (SLURL, by Zyrra Falcone), is an absolutely adorable, rough and tumble couple o’ hair ‘dos with a BEANIE… a BEANIE!!! I love mah beanies. Oh, ho ho yes. And this beanie is also scripted for texture change… an added bonus in my book. Unnngh. Lurve.
The New School Suspenders are just killer, and so well made. I often find myself looking for suspenders that aren’t just hollowed out cylinders bent at an angle… and these certainly take the cake. Sculpted and scripted for texture change, these suspenders rock my old school socks off. And they’re SO CUTE… ugh. *drools*
The New School Jeans are a collaborative effort between Kari and TorridWear (SLURL, by Torrid Midnight) and I think Menno actually describes these on his blog best… “These are worn out, ripped up, dirtied, and well..just plain comfortable jeans. What better way to compliment that track jacket? You’ll get two pair of jeans, blue and black, including sculptie cuffs in two sizes.” Again with the choices! God, I love diversity.
And last, but certainly not least (no seriously, not least) is the New School Jacket, a collaborative work of Celestial Studios (SLURL, by Starley Thereian), TorridWear and Kari… an awesome track jacket that is perfect for that rebellious street look. Available in ten different colors, with a sculptie collar included! I love this jacket… it has definitely got to be one of my favorite pieces added to my ridiculously extensive wardrobe.
I don’t think I could possibly explain how excited I am about the future of this store, its future collaborations, and its future blow-my-mind-kthxbai releases. :) Head on over to Kari (SLURL) and endulge yourself in a little New School newness!
Crate Diggers Unite!
Menno Ophelia’s kicking ass and taking names over at Kari (SLURL), his much anticipated shop that finally graced Second Life with its presence in July. Since its opening, Menno has made a ton of new releases (which can be found either at his shop or on OnRez) and his latest is definitely one of my favorites.
The Crate Digger bag, a trendy over-the-shoulder messenger bag, comes in six textures and two sizes, small for the ladies, large for the men. As someone who routinely carries a messenger bag in real life, this is definitely going to become one of my absolute favorite accessories… what can I say, I’m just… such a messenger bag whore. I admit it. I have no shame!
While all six textures offered on the bag are freakin’ phenomenal (Menno, your ability to texture knows no equal), my favorite is definitely the “soundsystem” one (pictured above, center right). With how many textures there are, this bag’s definitely versatile… and it actually FITS… that’s right. The strap is sculpted to fit like a glove, and boy howdy… it’s perfect.
Another thing I never did get the chance to mention in one of my more recent blog posts… the audio wire bracelet. Your DJ friends will LOVE it… and at just $80L, really… it would be the perfect, “Dude, you rock, have an audio wire,” anytime gift to give someone who really digs all things of the audio persuasion. And while you’re checking that out on OnRez, check out the trash can, Scribble bracelet, and Mixtape necklace too… just a few more things I friggin’ love that I haven’t had the chance to mention yet.
But that’s not all… no, I could go on and on about the awesometasticness that is Kari (SLURL). High tops, hats, jeans, hoodies, belts (BELTS… zomg, get the belts… they’re not on OnRez, but zomg GET THE BELTS!)… but I’d much rather you TP over there and bask in all of its glory the proper way.
PS: I know, I just went on a little tirade about the belts… I can’t believe I forgot to mention them earlier. There’s a WHOLE SLEW of belts at Kari (SLURL) these days… and they all come in three sizes – large, small, and curvy. And they FIT. Coming from someone who has never owned a belt in SL in her entire SLife, simply because they did not fit her bubble butt… they FIT. And I *LOVE* them. /endtirade
