The lovely Cattrina Careless of Catt’s Creations (OnRez, SLURL) is not only an incredibly pleasant woman to speak with, but also very talented. I am happy to report that she is selling a rather lovely set of lingerie… in seven colors, with both boyshorts and a gstring thong (BONUS… I <3 the boyshorts!)… for $550L! That’s right. Five hundred fifty lindens. That’s pretty damn good for seven pairs of lingerie. Oh, and matching sheer black stockings too!
Now, for right now, this phat pack (you like that word play there? I keed, I keed!) is only being sold as a full set of all seven colors on OnRez until the 6th of January. So boys, this works out great for you… because you can buy it and have it delivered to your favorite girl with no trouble! Think of it as a belated Christmas present. And every girl loves lingerie! Isn’t OnRez grand?
After the 6th of January, the set will be available as both the fat pack and individual colors. And while we’re on the topic of colors, available ones are aqua, green, blue, red, pink, purple, and black). My personal favorite is the pink, and I kind of wish there was a white one too… because pink, white, and black are my favorites. But that’s just me… I’m a picky bish. And since I’m so frickin’ girlie… those are my staples. Ya know? A girl’s gotta have pink, white, and black!
For critical purposes (I know, I know, everybody’s a critic!) the only real thing I see on this lingerie that could use a little improvement is the cloth texture and shading. For example… under the breasts is an area that is commonly missed when it comes to shading detail. Without it, the fabric simply looks painted over the breasts, with no real depth to it. Remember designers… the shadows are as important as the light.

I would also like to note that the poses used in these photos are actually created by the lovely and talented Roxana Demina of Dilemma (SLURL), an AO and poses shop. The poses displayed here consist of her as-yet unreleased line of AOs that will soon be available on the 1st of January! While the poses are meant to be used in animation overriders, they worked very nicely as model poses for this set. As an animation overrider however, they are some of the best I’ve seen, especially the sitting poses. Need a new AO??? Plan on creating one? Stop by her shop and have a peek! This is so far beyond cool it’s not even funny, and thank you so much to Nexeus for pointing it out to me. Because oh..my..god… I think I’ve found a new toy. And we all know how much I love my toys.
It is yet another social networking site known as Utterz. A site where you can basically call a phone number, “leave a message”, and it’s uploading to your profile for your follower’s viewing pleasure. As Nexeus puts it, think of it as Twitter… with voice. You can even add a widget to your blog (*points to her sidebar*) so that your groupies can listen to you chatter! Is that cool, or what?
Consider this my prelude into podcasting… yet another thing I want to break into for this wonderful, fashionable, stylish and fantastic world of Second Life. For those of you who have no idea who I’m talking about, Jonathan Hugo is the mastermind designer behind new design label Fuse (SLURL). The things this man is capable of just amaze me. And what’s even better, he just bestowed upon me my absolute favorite thing in the world… WINTER CLOTHES!!!
His new Ana Button Down Coat comes in five different colors (Lead, Coco, Rose, Sage, and Lavender) and sells for $300L per color, or $800L for all five, an INCREDIBLE savings. These beauties are copy/mod and are absolutely STUNNING. Believe me, these pictures do not do them justice. I’ve recently discovered something about myself. I LOVE winter clothes. I mean, really love them. Sweaters, jackets, pea coats, I love them all. But these following five outfits that I’m about to show you have become staples in my wardrobe. You’ve undoubtedly seen them on me before, and I’m sure you will see them on me again if you have. But they’re just so cute I had to share, in detail, everything about them.

This outfit is so simple and chic that I just adore it. The white cords are fantastic, because I just can never find a good pair of white pants… and these fit the bill perfectly. I get a warm fuzzy feeling just looking at this outfit, and it always draws compliments whenever I wear it. Who doesn’t love cropped cable knit sweaters, after all? Especially the pink ones… *heart*

The sweater is simply to DIE for and is completely modifiable so I was able to tweak it to my absolute perfect liking (being the anal perfection whore that I am). The full outfit, Maia, is Bare Rose so not only is it well made, it’s also cheap as hell — any one that’s shopped at BR knows this. And to top it all off, the sweater comes in three different colors (white, black and brown). I just LOVE chunky sweaters!

And I love the white fringe of this dress — just another elegant and beautiful creation by Bare Rose. Anyone could rock it out at any Christmas (or New Years!) party in this awesome little concoction.

I know shopping can be hard in Second Life, so I’ve decided to take the route my good friend Nexeus Fatale has taken, and make my own little Holiday Shopping guide for the masses. Maybe you’ll want my opinion, maybe you won’t… but I’m gonna give it to you anyway!
Now, I have to say that most of my friends are either the easiest ones to shop for, or the hardest. There really is no in-between. Artists, builders, creators, designers… we thrive on our creativity and sometimes that can be hard to encompass into a Christmas gift, know what I mean? I couldn’t even sit here and describe to you just how freaking cool this tool is. You really should get it, for yourself and a friend.
